Biography of Abubakar
I am Abubakar. I was born on Dec 1980 in Kampung Baro, Pidie District, Pidie Regency. Now, I am teaching at Senior High School of Teunom, Aceh Jaya.
My parents sent me to Elementary School of Kampung Baro, near my house. I spent six years at the school, from 1986 to1992. I remembered to all my nice teachers who were always patient in teaching and guiding me for learning. Right after I graduated from Elementary School, I continued my study to Junior High School 1 Pasie Rawa-Sigli and I completed my study here in 1995. The school reminded to the Principle who taught English when english teacher did not come to school at that day. Fortunately, it encouraged me to improve my English ability. From 1995 to 1998, I devoted my time studying at Vocational School Lilawangsa Sigli. It is one of the favorite Vocational Schools in Pidie Regency.
After I graduated from Vocational School I was to be a jobless. In 2003, I pursued my bachelor degree at UNIGHA majoring in English Language Education and I ended my study in 2009. I dedicate my ability in English at Senior High School level.
I attended Teacher Profession Training Program in 2019. The first reason is to increase my ability in teaching English. During the training program, I could learn more about how to select appropriate teaching methods for certain topics. For example, If I plan to teach about the expression of suggestion and offer, I have to apply role play technique as students can practice real life like dialogues in the class. Another reason is that I can get a Certificate of Professional Teacher which results in the increase of my additional monthly income.
